Our Primary Eyecare Exam includes:

1. Detailed analysis of your general and eye health history and a clear understanding of the main purpose of your visit, if any;

2. Preliminary eye function tests: Colour vision, 3D perception, eye teaming, gross visual field, eye pupil reactive responses;

3. Precise refraction test to accurately determine your refractive status: shortsightedness, longsightedness, reading addition;

4. Check your external eye integrity for potential issues such as dry eyes and risk of hidden but serious eye conditions such as angle-closure glaucoma, uveitis, etc.

5. A measurement of your intraocular pressure (IOP), a screening test for glaucoma;

6. A comprehensive exam of your whole retina, including a basic non-invasive structural scan of your macula structures with a medical-grade Optical Coherent Tomography (OCT);

7. Conditions analysis, summary, and professional advice by Dr. Marco or his team.

*This eye exam will involve dilation of your eye pupils with an eyedrop. You will have blur vision and become a bit light-sensitive for about 5 hours. We suggest no driving within that period, and you might also want to bring along with a pair of sunglasses.
